India has named a 15-member squad for the upcoming four T20I matches against South Africa. Suryakumar Yadav will lead the team, but there are some changes due to injuries and player selections.
Injuries Impacting the Squad:
- Mayank Yadav and Shivam Dube will miss the matches because of injuries. Mayank recently made his debut for India, while Dube was part of the World Cup-winning squad.
- Riyan Parag: is also out, dealing with a long-term shoulder injury.
Additionally, Nitish Kumar Reddy has been selected for the Test squad heading to Australia, which affects the T20 lineup.
New Additions:
- Vijaykumar Vyshak from Karnataka and Ramandeep Singh, who played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, are both getting their first call-ups.
- Axar Patel: returns after being part of the Test squad against New Zealand.
